When a customer needs an analog tape or other type of medium transferred to another digital format, it's helpful for us to get as much information about your media as possible. When you book a media transfer with us, your scheduled session time is the day and time for which you will be providing your media for us to transfer. This can be dropped off at our recording studios or mailed to us.
It's important to know that the transfer does not take place on the day of your appointment time while you wait. (It's a bit more involved than that) We will begin work on preparing your media for transfer. This often involves baking tapes in our tape oven for 8-12 hours and doing test plays to ensure a good transfer.
In order to fulfill your request (prior to your scheduled session date) please download the "Media Transfer Request" form below, fill it out, and then email it to: jared@sugarsoundstudios.com
Once your media has been transferred, we will contact you to pick up your transfer at our studios.
